Robert Half Paralegal - Family Law in Spartanburg, South Carolina
Description
Our client is seeking two permanent full-time paralegals to join their family law firm in Spartanburg, SC. Will work on a team of 3 attorneys and 5 paralegals. Paralegals handle 35-40 cases each. They are fully onsite (not remote/hybrid).
• Conduct thorough research and generate reports as required
• Work closely with attorneys to develop legal arguments, motions, and other case filings
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and responsibility in dealing with client needs
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Uphold confidentiality at all times and adhere to ethical standards
• Prioritize caseload and daily tasks efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service skills, both in person and over the phone
• Create detailed reports for attorneys based on case specifications and attorney's requests
• Possess a strong work ethic and commitment to helping meet all of our clients' needs
• Utilize strong organization abilities to maintain accurate client records and case files.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Family Law required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a paralegal role.
• Experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
• Familiarity with the duties and responsibilities of Paralegals.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in legal research and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in the use of legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field is preferred.
• Paralegal certification is a plus.
