Description
We are seeking a dedicated Systems Administrator to become an integral part of our team in Spartanburg, South Carolina. You will be responsible for monitoring network activity, managing data centers, and troubleshooting a variety of hardware and software issues. This is an exciting opportunity to employ your skills in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Responsibilities:
• Keep a vigilant watch on the active network, servers, and desktops, including multiple data center environments using management tools, and respond swiftly to hardware and software issues as they occur.
• Administer data center virtualization technologies and practices in a VMWare/VSphere environment.
• Manage and troubleshoot onsite and offsite backup using Veeam, Zerto, and Nimble services.
• Construct, test and maintain servers including Domain Controllers, file servers, Ubuntu, and NMS servers.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot end-user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices including patch management, antivirus software management, and Microsoft Office Suite/O365.
• Conduct system software and hardware component upgrades as required to meet business needs, ensuring upgrades adhere to established parameters.
• Maintain and troubleshoot issues with fiber channel storage, network attached storage, and iSCSI storage products.
• Troubleshoot, remediate, and document issues related to servers, computers, network, software, and hardware, recommending a course of action, and implementing as approved.
• Analyze system hardware/software problems and develop solutions for both front office and warehouse operations.
• Maintain local active directory environments, including groups, users, permissions, etc.
• Configure and maintain Cisco ASA firewalls, WAPs, switches, and firepower device.
Requirements • Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is required
• Experience with Dell Technologies is necessary
• Familiarity with Firewall Technologies is desired
• Candidates must have proficiency in Active Directory
• Knowledge and experience with Backup Technologies is essential
• Candidates should have a strong understanding of Computer Hardware
