Are you a detail-oriented financial professional looking to make a significant impact? We are seeking a dynamic individual to provide oversight and take direct responsibility for our Client's public reporting requirements, ensuring meticulous preparation of financial information in compliance with SEC regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead the preparation of 10-Q, 10-K, and other 34 Act filings, working closely with the Controller to establish key reporting dates and disclosure committee meetings.

  • Spearhead the Company's assessment of internal controls in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 requirements.

  • Document and train teams across various Company locations/departments in internal control processes and requirements.

  • Initiate self-assessment protocols for other departments/factory locations throughout the fiscal year.

  • Oversee the Company's monitoring of internal control testing, managing interactions related to Section 404 with external auditors, management, and the audit committee.

  • Assist in SEC and GAAP compliance for complex accounting transactions.

  • Stay abreast of new accounting pronouncements and provide insightful reports on their impact.

  • Apply accounting principles to analyze financial information and contribute to the preparation of financial statements.

  • Provide strong leadership, direction, and support to the department, managing the department budget and ensuring adherence to all Corporate Policies and Procedures.

  • Foster a compliance-oriented environment that supports our Corporate Affirmative Action Plan and Equal Employment Opportunity laws.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field (equivalent education and experience considered).

  • Desired: CPA Certification.

  • 2+ years of experience in public accounting, with specific expertise in SEC clients.

  • Demonstrated organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner within a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to write routine reports, follow oral and written instructions, and communicate effectively.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.

  • Proficient in the use and operation of standard office equipment, and familiarity with commonly used email, Internet, word processing, databases, and spreadsheets.

  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and materials, demonstrating poise, tact, and diplomacy.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA Certification.

  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting, with specific expertise in SEC clients.

  • Any experience in Contract Manufacturing and/or EMS industry a plus.
