Robert Half Financial Analyst in Spokane, Washington

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will perform various functions including research of data variances, data analysis to test data integrity, and work with large data sets. Your main responsibility will be to analyze micro and macroeconomic data to make business suggestions and forecasts. You will be required to interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations to the company management.

Responsibilities:

Perform research on financial data variances and evaluate financial performance.

Conduct analysis to test the integrity of data, and manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from various sources.

Develop financial models and conduct benchmarking and process analysis for decision support to aid management in the decision-making process.

Check the accuracy of financial transactions and reports.

Make use of advanced Excel skills to build automated spreadsheets, increase efficiency, and improve data accuracy for complex calculations.

Monitor and predict current and future financial performance, including review of income, expenses, and overhead.

Work with the accounting team to ensure correct financial reporting.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially advanced Excel functions like pivot tables, macros, the use of formulas, etc.

Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.

Experience in data management (e.g., automation, databases, and exploratory analysis).

Proficiency in financial modeling techniques, financial data interpretation, and report generation.
