Description
We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Tax Manager to lead our tax department, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of Federal, State, and Local tax filings for a global organization. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping tax policies and strategies, with the flexibility of a hybrid work environment that includes both remote work and time in our beautiful corporate office located in downtown Spokane.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the preparation and review of Federal, State, and Local tax filings, including consolidated corporate returns, US reporting for foreign operations, and other critical filings.
Collaborate with the Director of Tax, CFO, and external tax specialists to ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements.
Prepare and review quarterly and annual income tax provisions, ensuring adherence to US GAAP.
Partner with external CPA firms on key projects such as Transfer Pricing, R& D Credits, and Cost Segregation Studies.
Oversee quarterly and annual LIFO calculations and other financial reporting tasks.
Maintain correspondence with federal and state tax authorities, ensuring compliance and addressing inquiries.
Identify opportunities for process improvements, monitor regulatory changes, and recommend updates to tax policies and strategies.
Provide leadership, supervision, and development for the tax team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Ensure all tax activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
SALARY RANGE: $110,000 - $145,000

Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
7+ years of professional experience in Accounting and Tax within a top 10 accounting firm or multinational corporation.
Strong experience with US corporate tax filings in multi-state and international environments.
Proven supervisory experience and leadership skills.
CPA certification required.
