We are seeking an accomplished Director of Tax to lead and enhance our domestic and international tax functions. In collaboration with the CFO, you will develop innovative tax strategies that drive business success and improve tax efficiency across all operations. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Tax Leadership: Lead the tax department, crafting tax strategies that align with business goals and minimize tax liabilities, increasing cash flow and driving profitability.
Tax Automation & AI: Utilize automation and artificial intelligence to streamline tax processes and improve accuracy.
Corporate Transactions: Guide due diligence, tax structuring, and optimization for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
Global Compliance: Enhance global tax compliance and processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency in all deliverables.
Tax Filings & Returns: Oversee the final review of US tax deliverables, including consolidated corporate returns, state filings, and reporting on foreign operations.
ASC 740 & FIN 48: Manage quarterly and annual income tax provisions and evaluations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Mentorship & Leadership: Develop and lead the tax team, fostering a collaborative, ethical, and high-performance environment that empowers team members to thrive.
Salary Range: $180,000 - $270,000 depending on experience

Requirements
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field (required); Master’s Degree in Taxation (preferred).
Experience: 12+ years of progressive tax experience in a top 10 accounting firm or a multinational corporation.
Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
Expertise: Strong background in US corporate tax filings, ASC 740, and international/multi-state tax environments. Knowledge of estate, gift tax, and experience with BEPS reporting is a plus.
Leadership: Proven experience in managing and mentoring teams, with a focus on fostering a positive, inclusive work culture.
