Fast growing, manufacturer located in the Montgomery County area is looking to hire a Staff Accountant II with proven general ledger expertise. As the Staff Accountant II, you will maintain the general ledger, perform balance sheet analysis, assist with expense analysis and reconciliation, prepare supporting schedules, complete fixed asset reporting, enter payroll journal entries into the ERP system, generate monthly bonus calculations, handle employee expense reimbursements, and provide other accounting support as needed. The ideal candidate for this role should have great problem-solving skills, excellent time-management and strong budgeting/forecasting abilities that will ensure revenue generation.

Everyday Responsibilities

· Support daily accounting functions

· Month End/Year End Close

· Assist with sales tax filings

· Maintain general ledger

· Prepare and review monthly financial statements

· Bank Reconciliations

· Monitor fixed assets

· Resolve accounting discrepancies

· Assist with the internal and external audit process

· Ad hoc financial analysis projects as requested

Requirements

The ideal Staff Accountant II MUST have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.

Other requirements for the Staff Accountant II role include and are not limited to:

· 3+ years of accounting experience (some AP/AR a plus)

· Inventory experience or manufacturing highly preferred

· SAGE a big plus

· Strong GAAP knowledge
