Description
We are seeking an Accounting Manager in SPRINGDALE, Ohio. Within the service industry, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting department, working closely with project managers, and facilitating communication with insurance companies. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the processing of customer credit applications to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain detailed and accurate customer credit records
• Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts and credit applications
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on account status
• Handle credit card reconciliation work across various accounts
• Assist with complex payroll
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring items are coded correctly
• Review and scrutinize invoices due to the commission-based structure
• Work closely with project managers, especially in relation to invoice evaluation
• Ensure accurate job costing and project costing in the construction industry
Requirements
• Proficiency in job costing, construction accounting, and payroll
• General Accounting skills are essential
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to work in a service industry environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
