Description
Are you an experienced Accounting Specialist looking to join a dynamic company? We are seeking a talented individual to perform a range of accounting tasks that ensure accurate and timely monthly and yearly financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify and post business transactions including inventory adjustments, data updates, and journal entries.
Manage daily costing processes and maintain parts standards during preproduction and mass production.
Handle daily accounts receivable tasks such as invoice processing and collections.
Reconcile A/R discrepancies and coordinate monthly reports.
Oversee fixed asset activity and project maintenance in the FAS system.
Process accounts payable invoices and perform three-way match where necessary.
Complete bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll activities.
Design and implement financial process improvements.
Prepare month-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly reports.
Support annual budget and audit requirements.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of GAAP and strong math aptitude.
Proficiency in Excel, Epicor/CMS, or equivalent accounting software.
Ability to work accurately with numbers and manage multiple accounting tasks.
Work Environment:
- Open office environment with exposure to noise.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- Full-time position with required overtime and occasional weekend work as needed.
