Description
We are in search of a Sr. Project Manager to bolster our team in the education industry, based in Springfield, Massachusetts. As a Sr. Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing diverse upgrades and implementations, providing expert advice on enterprise systems, and facilitating the creation of a comprehensive system to track and manage reports. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee various system upgrades and implementations, ensuring successful completion
• Provide expert advice and guidance on the functioning and optimization of enterprise systems
• Facilitate the creation and maintenance of a system to track key reports such as promotions, tenure, research profiles, etc.
• Collaborate with a team of architects, developers, and Business Analysts to achieve project objectives
• Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related inquiries and issues
• Ensure the creation of accessible libraries for these reports across multiple business offices
• Monitor and manage enterprise software development and implementation within the Project Management Office
• Ensure the effective use of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions within the enterprise environment.
Requirements
• Candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years experience in a project management role.
Higher Education enterprise software application project experience is a plus
• Experience working in the education industry is required.
• Must have extensive knowledge and experience working with PMO - Project Management Office.
• Proven track record in successful project management is essential.
• Experience in an enterprise environment is a prerequisite for this role.
• Familiarity with enterprise level projects is necessary.
• Proficiency in enterprise software and enterprise software development is required.
• Experience with enterprise systems is a must.
• Knowledge and experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions is crucial for this role.
