Robert Half Account Specialist in Springfield, Vermont
Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Account Specialist in the high tech engineering industry. Located in Springfield, Vermont, this role serves as a crucial point of contact for our customers, providing a comprehensive service experience through various communication platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of interaction for customers, fielding inquiries via calls, emails, and online chat
• Provide comprehensive explanations of our technology to customers through various communication channels
• Sell and promote the company's products and services to both new and existing customers, utilizing techniques such as up-selling and suggestive selling
• Maintain a high-level knowledge of company products, services, service territories, pricing, technical capabilities, and other necessary information to effectively serve customers
• Address customer billing issues, apply approved credits or adjustments, and liaise with other departments to resolve billing issues
• Initiate service orders to begin, upgrade, or terminate service, and initiate number ports as requested by customers
• Accept and post payments to customer accounts, establish payment arrangements, and assist with processing insufficient checks and related correspondence
• Perform miscellaneous clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and record maintenance
• Assist with the disconnection process for non-payment
• Maintain carrier information and related correspondence for customer and company use. Requirements • Applicant should have at least one year of experience in the High Tech Engineering industry.
• Proven skills in Customer Service are necessary.
• Prior experience in a Call Center Customer Service role is essential.
• Proficiency in Inside Sales is required.
• Exceptional Communication skills are a must.
• Proficiency in office productivity software is necessary.
• Applicant should be well-versed in office productivity software.
• Basic Computer Skills are a requirement.
• Experience in operating a Multi-Line Phone System is necessary.
