Robert Half Sr. Accountant in St. Augustine, Florida

Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team in the CPA industry, based in St. Augustine, Florida. The role primarily includes preparing various tax forms, reviewing financial documents, and providing financial reports. The Sr. Accountant will also handle tasks related to payroll and project management.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare various tax returns such as Forms 1040, 1120S, 1120, 1041.

• Conduct tax planning and projections to optimize financial strategies.

• Review financial documents and make necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy.

• Generate reports and provide financial information to financial institutions on behalf of clients.

• Handle payroll-related tasks and ensure accurate record-keeping.

• Utilize Excel and QuickBooks in executing daily tasks and maintaining records.

• Perform project management tasks as required.

• Maintain a well-organized approach to work, with the ability to multitask effectively.

• Exhibit strong communication skills in liaising with clients and team members.

• Leverage knowledge of Tax Planning Strategies, Form 1120, IRS Form 1120S, E1040, and CPA. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a CPA firm

• CPA certification is required

• Proficiency in Tax Planning Strategies is essential

• Experience with Form 1120, IRS Form 1120S, and E1040 is necessary

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Attention to detail and accuracy in all work

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks

• Knowledge of current accounting rules and regulations

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
