Description We have a client who is looking to fill a Full Charge Bookkeeper role promptly with a candidate who can lead the clerical staff and manage full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, and audit. Other assignments as requested
Assemble sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
Set up subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
Accomplished in credit card management and reconciliation
Log budget transfers
Prepare cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.
Recap business license and gross receipts
Arrange monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
Administer monthly accounting close
Lead Accounts Receivable
Supply cash flow projections, as needed
Manage Accounts Payable Requirements - Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
Demonstrated knowledge of Federal Tax Return
Proficiency in Full Charge Bookkeeping
Adeptness in QuickBooks
General familiarity with Federal Income Tax Return
Solid understanding of Basic Bookkeeping
Cash reconciliations experience
Bank reconciliations experience
Practical knowledge of Income Tax Return
Journal entries experience highly preferred
Strong analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills
Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
Strong communication and social skills
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
Highly organized and self-motivated
