Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Workers Comp Defense Attorney to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for representing our clients in workers compensation cases, providing strategic legal counsel, and advocating on their behalf. As a vital member of our legal team, you will handle all aspects of case management, from initial client consultation to trial preparation and beyond. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of workers compensation cases from inception to resolution

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents

• Prepare for and attend hearings, trials, and mediations

• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members

• Provide strategic guidance and counsel to clients throughout the litigation process

• Stay current on developments in workers compensation law and regulations

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

• Admission to the Missouri State Bar and in good standing

• 3+ years of experience practicing workers compensation defense law

• Strong litigation skills, including trial experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy and achieving positive outcomes
