Robert Half Attorney/Lawyer in St. Louis, Missouri
Description We are seeking an Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri. As an integral part of our personal injury law firm, you will be responsible for managing cases, guiding clients through the legal process, and advocating for their rights. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and a passion for law.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a diverse caseload from pre-litigation through trial with dedicated support staff
• Advocate zealously for clients while maintaining high ethical standards
• Regularly communicate with clients, providing guidance and empathy throughout the case process
• Analyze case-specific legal issues and documentation, including insurance policies, lien language, and settlement releases
• Draft and file litigation documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions, and memorandum
• Collaborate with and learn from others to effectively move cases forward
• Consult regularly with adjusters, experts, opposing counsel, and other parties as needed
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
• Use Case Management Software for efficient processing and tracking of cases
• Utilize skills in Civil Litigation and Personal Injury Law to handle complaints and briefings effectively. Requirements • Must hold a professional degree in law (JD, LLB, LLM)
• Must be a licensed attorney with at least 3 years of experience
• Proficiency in case management software is required
• Strong skills in document management are necessary
• Experience in briefing and civil litigation is a must
• Proven ability in handling complaints effectively
• Specialization or significant experience in personal injury law is required
• Familiarity with personal injury litigation is needed
• Experience with personal injury plaintiffs is preferred
• Must possess excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
• Strong research and report writing skills are required
• Must be able to work effectively in a team and independently
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail needed
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality is critical
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
