Robert Half Attorney/Lawyer in St. Louis, Missouri
Description We are seeking an Attorney/Lawyer to join our team located in St. Louis, Missouri. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling complex personal injury cases, engaging in litigation tasks, and maintaining constant communication with clients and opposing counsel.
Responsibilities:
• Drafting legal pleadings and motions to further case progress.
• Engaging in the deposition process, both taking and defending depositions.
• Preparing for and participating in jury trials.
• Regularly communicating with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel to ensure smooth case handling.
• Making court appearances as necessary.
• Monitoring the progress of personal injury cases to ensure they are moving towards resolution.
• Utilizing case management software to keep track of all cases.
• Handling complaints and civil litigation matters.
• Participating in the drafting and preparation of pleadings.
• Managing legal documents and records related to cases. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of one year of professional experience as an Attorney/Lawyer.
• Proficiency in using Case Management Software is required.
• Demonstrated experience in Document Management is necessary.
• Must have experience in Briefing and Civil Litigation.
• Proficiency in handling complaints and providing solutions.
• Knowledge of Personal Injury Law, Personal Injury Litigation, and Personal Injury Plaintiffs is essential.
• Must be a Licensed Attorney.
• Experience in Deposition Summary, Depositions, Draft Pleadings, Legal Pleadings, and Preparing Pleadings is required.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Should be capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Must have a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
• Must have a professional degree in law from an accredited institution.
• Must adhere to all professional ethical guidelines and standards.
• Must be willing to continuously update legal knowledge and skills.
