Robert Half Compliance Manager in St. Louis Park, Minnesota

Description

Robert Half is partnering with a Well-Recognized Provider, and sourcing for a Compliance Manager.

You will be primarily responsible for administering, overseeing, and enforcing compliance with the Build America Buy America Acts regulations. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about these laws, their application, and implications for the business. The position will work closely with various departments to ensure the organization operates in complete adherence to all stipulated regulations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Consistently monitor business activities to ensure complete adherence to Buy America Build America Acts laws including its regulations around sourcing, purchasing, and manufacturing practices.

  2. Perform regular audits on ERP systems to safeguard company operations from any legal repercussions resulting from non-compliance.

  3. Interpret and apply the Buy America Build America Acts guidelines to ERP systems

  4. Collaborate with the procurement, logistics, and manufacturing teams to provide guidance and insight about the Act's rules and regulations.

  5. Coordinate with senior management to oversee and manage risks which may arise from non-compliance with the Act.

  6. Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance training program for all employees to ensure understanding and adherence to the Act's protocols within the ERP system.

  7. Maintain accurate documentation to prove compliance with the Act's regulations, and participate in any necessary audits or inspections.

  8. Be the primary point of contact regarding any issues, discussions, or knowledge updates about the Buy America Build America Acts.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  1. A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field; or a Juris Doctor degree

  2. Proven experience in legal compliance, preferably with the Buy America Build America Acts.

  3. Working knowledge of ERPs, their structures, and functionalities.

  4. Strong understanding of business processes including purchasing, sourcing, and manufacturing.

  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  7. Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
