Robert Half Financial Analyst in St Louis Park, Minnesota

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join our manufacturing team in St Louis Park, Minnesota. In this role, you will be expected to assist with the planning, forecasting, and financial activities of our division. You will also be working closely with operations teams to understand financial impacts and ensure accurate reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts

• Support the planning and forecasting process for a division, group, or platform

• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support

• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking

• Review and consolidate fixed and variable costs, KPI reports, and productivity initiatives

• Analyze key business performance metrics (revenue, net price, volume mix and management, customer margins, trade spend) and proactively identify performance improvement opportunities

• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities

• Support and/or lead aspects of the quarterly/annual budget, forecast, and variance analysis process

• Perform month-end close duties as required

• Prepare and analyze reports for the business unit and ensure that all business unit financial reporting is accurate according to currently accepted financial practices. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Financial Analyst role or similar position in the Manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in Financial Modeling and Financial Reporting

• Demonstrated ability in compiling and analyzing complex datasets

• Experience in handling profit and loss statements

• Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting processes

• Proven skills in executing Month End Close activities

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
