Description
We are in search of a Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Dayton, Minnesota. This role involves organizing and managing the logistical aspects of our operations within the electrical industry. You will be mainly focusing on one customer, managing their orders, scheduling shipments, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and schedule shipments, ensuring timely delivery of products to the customer.
• Regularly update and maintain customer records in our ERP system, which you will be trained on.
• Manage and process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all operations.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding any updates or issues related to orders or shipments.
• Label pallets and place placards on the warehouse floor as needed for efficient product identification and handling.
• Collaborate with the traffic team for efficient management of orders and shipments.
• Ensure proper organization and structure within the logistics department to facilitate smooth operations.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on account status.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
• Work both at the desk and on the warehouse floor, ensuring all logistical operations are running smoothly.
Skills:
• Proficiency in answering inbound calls and providing excellent customer service.
• Experience with data entry and email correspondence.
• Ability to schedule appointments and handle inbound and outbound calls.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook.
