We are looking to bring on board a Systems Administrator in St. Marys, Georgia. The role requires a Security Clearance involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of our IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring seamless functioning of servers, applications, and networks to support our business requirements. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and applications to support business operations.

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal uptime and efficiency.

• Manage user accounts and permissions to ensure secure and appropriate access to systems.

• Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard the organization from cyber threats.

• Provide technical support to users and resolve system-related issues promptly.

• Document system configurations and procedures for reference and continuity.

• Stay informed on the latest system technologies and trends to keep our IT infrastructure updated.

• Perform system backups and implement disaster recovery procedures to protect data integrity.

• Leverage skills in Cisco Technologies, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server, MS Windows 10, and Network Troubleshooting to enhance system performance and security.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is required for the role.

• Prior experience with Active Directory is a must.

• Knowledge and working experience with Microsoft Exchange Server is necessary.

• Familiarity with MS Windows 10 is essential.

• The applicant should have strong skills in Network Troubleshooting.

• The Systems Administrator role requires excellent problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.

• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is a key requirement.

• The role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

• Active Security Clearance and a Security+ CE are required.

• The candidate should have a strong understanding of computer security practices.

• Experience with cloud computing platforms will be beneficial.

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapid changes is required.

• The candidate should be detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills.

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.

• The candidate should be comfortable with on-call responsibilities for system troubleshooting and problem resolution.
