Description

Robert Half is working with a nonprofit organization to identify their next IT Manager, focused on business systems. You will lead the design, development, implementation, and support of the organization's IT systems. In this role, you will provide visionary leadership to align IT solutions with business objectives, ensuring reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate closely with various departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support IT solutions that enhance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Leadership

  • Lead the development and implementation of IT systems and departmental strategies.

  • Research and recommend IT solutions that align with business needs and objectives.

  • Develop and manage an annual IT work plan and budget.

  • Stay current with developments in IT and establish standards, policies, and procedures.

Technology Operations

  • Supervise vendor(s) and, if applicable, staff responsible for administration, management, and maintenance of IS/IT systems.

  • Manage all IT assets and coordinate with IT support vendors for Microsoft 365 management and user support.

  • Provide training and support to all users.

  • Oversee the security of IT systems, networks, and data.

Association Management System (AMS) Management

  • Act as the primary liaison with the AMS vendor.

  • Manage AMS software upgrades, implement new features, and provide training.

  • Develop, document, and optimize business processes involving the AMS.

  • Enhance AMS functionality through research and implementation, including automation.

  • Manage system configuration changes and support existing integrations.

  • Create and revise reports and provide data for decision-making.

  • Field AMS support requests and liaise with the vendor for higher-level support.

Website Management & Development

  • Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for websites.

  • Design and develop new features or collaborate with external vendors.

  • Liaise with web development, hosting, and support vendors.

  • Manage updates, permissions, and backups for all websites.

Annual Conference Technology

  • Offer technology support for onsite conference registration.

  • Prepare conference program data for the website and mobile app.

  • Assist with conference AV requirements.

Other Systems Management

  • Provide support for other systems, including Higher Logic, Asana, Airtable, ScholarOne, Zoom, SurveyMonkey, ActiveCampaign, and ElectionBuddy.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Proven experience in IT leadership and systems management related to nonprofit associations / Association Management Systems (AMS)

  • Strong knowledge of IT best practices, trends, and emerging technologies.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Project management and budgeting experience.
