Description
Robert Half is assisting a client in a highly specialized processing industry with the search for an experienced Preventative Maintenance Manager. You will play a vital role in managing maintenance programs focused on reliability and equipment efficiency within a challenging industrial setting. This position is critical in ensuring the longevity and efficiency of our machinery and equipment, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a high standard of operational performance.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all processing equipment and facilities.
Schedule and oversee regular maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures.
Utilize CMMS (Upkeep) to track maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment history.
Train and supervise maintenance staff, ensuring adherence to safety and operational protocols.
Collaborate with production teams to minimize disruption and coordinate maintenance schedules.
Analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
Manage the inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and manage the resolution process.
Prepare reports and documentation related to maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a meat packing or processing environment.
Bachelor’s degree preferred; additional technical certifications or degrees in engineering, maintenance management, or a related field is a plus.
Proficiency in using CMMS, experience in Upkeep is highly desired.
Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and develop a team in a high-intensity setting.
Strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
