Description
We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the payroll services industry. As a PEO Benefits Specialist, you will be tasked with supporting our clients, their employees, and our internal partners, focusing on the setup, maintenance, and support of client accounts.
Responsibilities:
• Facilitate the setup and ongoing maintenance of client accounts, ensuring optimal client retention
• Provide top-notch customer service to clients, employees and field partners via calls, faxes, and emails
• Handle the processing of benefit enrollments for PEO product offerings for clients, ensuring timely and accurate processing
• Research and address product and service issues from the field, clients, and their employees, documenting information in CRM to track these issues
• Conduct research and resolve monthly audits to correct billing inaccuracies
• Engage with Health & Benefit carriers to address customer needs
• Obtain and maintain benefit documentation to ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and laws, including Paychex Section 125 plan
• Keep abreast of all changes pertaining to various product offerings, regulatory changes, policy changes, and industry developments to ensure compliance with departmental processes and company guidelines
• Correct errors from audit reports and carrier discrepancy files
• Participate in special projects and training sessions as needed.
Requirements • Proficiency in providing excellent customer service
• Experience in handling documentation and maintaining records
• Strong ability in planning and implementing strategies effectively
• Knowledge of company policies and regulations
• Skilled in managing both inbound and outbound calls
• Experience in auditing processes and reports
• Understanding of benefit functions and discrepancy resolution
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with partners
• Proven track record in client relations and CRM utilization
• Strong research and analysis skills, particularly in law and regulation
• Ability to ensure compliance with all relevant rules and regulations
• Proficiency in Windows OS
• Experience in distributing faxes and managing communications
• Demonstrated ability to lead special projects and initiatives
• Proficiency in designing and executing email campaigns
• Experience in conducting training sessions for team members
• Knowledge of federal regulations as they pertain to payroll services
• Ability to create and review audit reports
• Experience in identifying and correcting errors
• Proven track record in ensuring correct billing
• Familiarity with Paychex payroll service
• Proficiency in HRIS payroll systems
