Description
We are seeking a Risk & Insurance Administrator located in St. Petersburg, Florida. The role primarily involves managing risk and insurance matters for our properties. The position is based in our office, with occasional travel to properties for on-site training or incident follow-ups. The role will report directly to the COO and will involve collaboration with property managers and executive directors.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage risk and insurance matters across all properties
• Travel to properties for incident follow-ups and investigations as needed
• Partner with property managers and executive directors to address risk and insurance concerns
• Manage relationships with insurance providers to ensure optimal coverage and service
• Investigate and manage claims related to property and casualty incidents
• Develop and implement risk management strategies and initiatives
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards
• Monitor and report on risk and insurance matters to the COO and board of directors
• Continuously review and update risk management policies and procedures
• Work closely with the operations team to address any on-site issues related to risk or insurance.

Requirements
- Experience working in the insurance industry is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required.
