Robert Half IT Auditing Manager in St. Petersburg, Florida

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Sr. IT Auditor in the telecom industry, based in St. Petersburg, Florida. This role involves executing and managing various cybersecurity assessment and compliance projects, documenting and testing computer information systems, and providing recommendations on improvements to technology systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, conclude, and manage various cybersecurity assessment and compliance projects according to unique project requirements and circumstances

• Leverage knowledge and experience to document and test computer information systems for clients

• Provide recommendations on improvements to technology systems and infrastructure

• Ensure that information systems application, infrastructure, and controls are operating as intended

• Perform risk-based integrated reviews of financial, accounting, operational, systems, and management controls

• Work on multiple projects in varying stages through completion and issuance of final deliverables

• Leverage skills in IT Audit and Cybersecurity compliance to effectively carry out job functions. Requirements • Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

• Advanced knowledge of IT Audit is required.

• Proficiency in Cybersecurity compliance is essential.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.

• Must have a strong understanding of IT audit methodologies, concepts, tools, and objectives.

• Knowledge and experience in internal audit principles and practices, and system development standards are required.

• Must be able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and have effective project management skills.

• Professional certifications like CISA, CISSP, or similar are preferred.

• Strong understanding of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.

• Experience with audit software and other financial and statistical software is desired.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

• Strong team player with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
