Robert Half Purchasing Procurement Specialist in Stafford, Texas
Description Robert Half is looking to staff a Purchaser with our rapidly growing client! This Purchaser will research vendors, products, and services and negotiate contracts for the best price and value. Are you an experienced purchaser with superb communication, inventory management and analytical skills? Then this may be the role for you.
What you get to do every single day
Look over products upon delivery and report any issues timely
Network with vendors and view new products at events, shows, and exhibitions
Monitor inventory and writing orders to refill stock
Perform cost analyses and write reports on purchases made
Liaise with delivery and warehouse teams to ensure goods are received on time
Research potential products, vendors, and services, comparing price and quality for the best deal
Engage with staff and other stakeholders at meetings
Negotiate contracts with clients and vendors
Keep records of purchased products up to date Requirements - Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
