Robert Half Divisional/Plant Controller in State College, Pennsylvania
Description
This is a contract/contract to hire opportunity. The Controller will define the financial strategies, and work with the location CEO and management to execute these to ensure company sustainability and growth. Duties include but are not limited to managing the finances of the location in a manner that allows it to have the necessary funds to meet all obligations. The CFO reports directly to the local President/CEO on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, inventory analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding.
Requirements
• Must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role
• Proven expertise in SAP is essential
• Proficiency in Controllership and Controllership Functions is required
• Demonstrated skills in Forecasting and Annual Budget planning
• Previous experience in a Manufacturing environment is desirable
• Ability to work collaboratively and lead cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required
• Advanced knowledge of financial regulations and legislation
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in other financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
• CPA certification or equivalent is a plus.
