Robert Half Fixed Asset Accountant in Statesville, North Carolina
Description We are in search of a Fixed Asset Accountant in Statesville, North Carolina. This role will primarily focus on managing accounting tasks related to fixed assets and prepaids. As a Fixed Asset Accountant, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our general accounting efforts and manage capital requests. This opportunity offers a short term contract employment.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the management of fixed assets and ensure accurate record keeping.
• Handle general accounting tasks to support the financial health of the organization.
• Manage capital requests and ensure all necessary documentation is in place.
• Maintain accurate records of prepaid assets and manage related accounting tasks.
• Utilize SyteLine ERP and Sage FAS to manage and track assets.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Participate in budget processes, contributing financial expertise.
• Understand and implement accrual accounting principles.
• Reconcile accounts and address any discrepancies.
• Track assets and ensure they are correctly booked and capitalized. Requirements • Proficiency in performing Accounting Functions
• Knowledge and experience in Accrual Accounting
• Skilled in Auditing practices
• Familiarity with Budget Processes
• Understanding of Capitalization principles
• Proficiency in using Sage FAS - Formerly Best software
• Experience with Sage FAS 123R software
• Knowledge of SyteLine and Syteline ERP systems
• Ability to manage Prepaid Assets and Prepaids
• Experience in managing Capital Assets
• General Accounting knowledge and skills
