Description Responsible for collections, deduction verification, reduction, resolution and appropriate reporting. Ideal candidate can navigate customer online portals and be an effective communicator and relationship builder.

Essential Job Functions

• Daily collection of monies owed to F& M from multiple customers.

• Extensive knowledge of all organization products as well as a strong capability to troubleshoot and solve a wide range of issues.

• Provide and maintain customer deduction reports as requested.

• Recording and tracking of all customer deductions for damages, shortages, etc. and verification of each deduction.

• File all disputes for customer deductions.

• Communication of all deductions to the appropriate Departments (ie. Sales, Production, Traffic) and efforts to recapture disputed customer deductions.

• Collaborate with appropriate departments to capture the cause of deductions and provide recommendations to correct. Requirements

Accounts Receivable (AR), Aging Accounts, Deductions, B2B collections, Collecting Payments, Collection Processes, Collections - Commercial, B2B Environment, Excel Formulas, Microsoft Excel

Requirements/Keys

• Associates degree in business, accounting or finance or equivalent experience. (will look at 2+ years in a manufacturing environment)

• Prior knowledge and experience in Accounts Receivable and collections function. MUST have an understanding of AR deductions and follow up on discrepancies

• Experience working with customers and establishing effective communication.

• Ability to work with all groups within the organization.

• Must be highly self-motivated and a self-starter and able to work with little supervision with a passion for collections and problem solving.

• Analytical approach to problem solving.

• An outside the box and creative mentality.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Accounting/Finance systems. ANY large ERP experience is fine, MUST have a solid foundation in excel)

• Highly detail oriented.
