Jackie Meza with Robert Half is recruiting for an an Accounts Payable professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining precise records, processing customer applications, and addressing customer inquiries. Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications

• Maintain precise customer credit records

• Manage accounts payable and ensure all payments are made in a timely manner

• Carry out account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Conduct regular check runs to maintain the smooth operation of financial transactions

• Code invoices accurately for appropriate categorization in the accounting system

• Perform data entry tasks to keep all customer records up to date

• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks

• Leverage strong Excel skills to manage and analyze data

• Pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.

Requirements • Proficient in accounts payable (AP) and account reconciliation

• Experience with check runs and coding invoices

• Skilled in data entry and invoice processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with QuickBooks software

• Previous experience in the transport industry preferred

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High degree of accuracy and ability to handle confidential information

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
