Description
Jackie Meza with Robert half is seeking a Cost Accountant/Business Analyst to join our team in the Aerospace industry, based in Stockton, California. This role focuses on collecting and analyzing financial information related to company's Revenue, Direct Margin, and Inventory. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing detailed financial analysis and reports to various departments, preparing cost reconciliation reports, managing inventory valuation and maintaining inventory reconciliations. Responsibilities:
• Participate in the ongoing reporting processes.
• Analyze past financial performance to predict future performance and advise on financial strategy.
• Prepare and maintain accurate customer credit records.
• Monitor warehouse facilities to evaluate inventory transactions.
• Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
• Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking, and process analysis.
• Collaborate with various teams for inventory purchases and revenue forecast.
• Assist with the interpretation of customer requirements into feasible options.
• Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function.
• Support the Pricing and Proposal function by providing historical costing information for all elements of cost.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services will be beneficial.
• Ability to generate and analyze Crystal Reports is required.
• Experience with Epicor is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is needed.
• Understanding of various Accounting Functions is crucial.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary.
• Auditing skills are a must.
• Familiarity with Budget Processes is expected.
• Ability to manage and report on Cash Activity is required.
