Overview: Responsible for driving sales, member acquisition, member engagement and successful product launches via email and communications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
65% Email Marketing
Create email marketing strategies, test plans, recommendations, customer journey mapping based on data; 5 – 7 emails/week
Acquisition (prospects, former members): 2 – 3 emails/week
Engagement (current + members on hold): 2 – 3 emails/week
Additional ad hoc updates, changes, etc.
Review and analyze email databases to provide strategies for recommended segmentation and campaigns
Execute front end email development to produce best in class custom email designs (mobile optimized)
Analyze performance of deployed campaigns and formulate actionable insights/strategies to drive learning and optimization of future messages
Create segmentation using the member usage data and ensure proper lists are generated in Email Service Provider (Braze) for successful deployment
Refresh and upgrade email templates using graphics, personalization, and advanced features/optimization tools
Strategize, conduct, and track A/B testing for creative, subject lines, frequency, time of day, week of day, calls to action, and other email content
Use insights and learnings to continuously improve results (open rate, Click-through rate, conversion/sales, retention) and share actionable insights with team
35% Communications, Strategy + Product Launch Marketing
Collaborate with the Fitness team to successfully launch new fitness products, programming, and training
Strategize with the Fitness team on the go-to-market calendar and lead the marketing initiatives
Partner with the Marketing team to ensure assets (web, social, email, etc.) are created and executed properly to best support the product launch
Evaluate product launch and adoption/engagement goals to ensure the most efficient marketing tools are used and adjust as needed
Requirements
5+ years experience in email marketing and data analysis including within fitness, wellness, retail, consumer industry
Passion for fitness/health/wellness a plus
Direct experience in Email Service Provider (Braze a plus)
Strong interest and first-hand experience in Customer Relationship Management, email, and direct marketing
Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills
Attention to detail, independent thinker, and ability to recognize patterns and anomalies in data
PLUS:
copywriting skills (clear, concise, witty copy)
HTML, Photoshop to tweak links, files
Google Analytics, Tableau
PM tool experience (currently using RoboHead for creative)
