Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support our client's finance team in handling essential Accounts Payable (AP) functions. This role is ideal for someone with a background in AP processing and familiarity with the education sector’s financial needs. The successful candidate will join a supportive team, ensuring smooth operations within the AP function.
Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Management: Pull invoices manually from the inbox, organize them, and ensure they are accurately recorded in the system.
Purchase Order (PO) Matching: Match invoices with corresponding purchase orders, validating details to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Basic Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations to verify payment data, identify discrepancies, and ensure accounts remain balanced.
Data Management: Use Excel for data management tasks, including generating reports, sorting data, and analyzing account information.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Account Coding is required for the role.
• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is essential.
• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a must.
• Ability to perform general Accounting Functions is expected.
• Prior experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is beneficial.
