Robert Half Contracts Legal Assistant in Stone Mountain, Georgia

Description We are in search of a diligent Contracts Legal Assistant to join our team in the non-profit sector, working from our location in Stone Mountain, Georgia. In this role, you will primarily manage various construction contracts, ensuring they are effectively organized, tracked, and meet strict deadlines. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and track numerous construction projects and contracts, ensuring all are completed in a timely manner.

• Maintain an extensive database of contracts and associated documentation.

• Work closely with a team of attorneys, assisting in the coordination of contract-related tasks.

• Manage a busy calendar of deadlines, ensuring all contracts are processed in a timely manner.

• Ensure the correct collection and filing of physical signatures for all necessary documentation.

• Handle customer inquiries related to the contracts in a professional and timely manner.

• Oversee the processing of customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and monitor customer accounts.

• Utilize your skills in Excel and OneDrive to effectively manage and organize contracts.

• Collaborate with various teams and individuals, including those involved in public schools projects. Requirements • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field

• Proven experience in a similar role within the Non-Profit sector is preferred

• Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of Contracts and Public Schools

• Proficiency in Database Management is essential

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically

• Knowledge of legal requirements and controls (e.g. Anti-Money Laundering, or AML)

• Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards

• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
