Audit Senior Opportunity in Northern Suffolk County
Well-established public accounting firm in Suffolk is seeking an Audit Senior to join their team.
As the Audit Senior you will:
Oversee all facets of the audit engagement from planning and risk assessment to execution and delivery.
Review audit work papers and financial statements.
Supervise, coach, and mentor junior audit staff.
Enhance relationships with clients to better understand their business and serve their needs.
Proactively interact with key client management to gather information, resolve audit-related problems and recommendations for business and process improvements.
Coordinate with the firm’s tax department for income tax provision calculations and returns.
Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.

Requirements
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting.
Minimum of three years’ experience in public accounting.
CPA certification or progress towards the certification.
Proficiency in the US GAAP and GAAS.
Proven experience in managing multiple client engagements at the same time.
Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with audit software is highly preferred.
Ability to travel to client’s locations as needed.
