Description POSITION SUMMARY

The Accounts Payable Manager will be a key member of the accounting team with the responsibility of ensuring timely and accurate payment of Company accounts. The Accounts Payable Manager will coordinate with the Assistant Controller to ensure that activities are in accordance with established accounting, regulatory and Company procedures while partnering with internal business partners to successfully reach Company goals.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Manage direct reports, establish goals and core competencies for each year and monitor and advise on the progress to enhance the staff's professional development

• Coordinate department processes between multiple locations

• Identify and implement process improvements and automation

• Review and approve vendor creations and changes

• Review and approve payment runs

• Complete credit applications for vendors

• Perform 1099 reporting

• Perform escheatment procedures according to various state requirements

• Administer the company purchasing card program

• Administer the company vendor virtual card program

• Administer the Concur system for expense reports and purchasing card account

• Manage escalated situations with vendors

• Undertake special projects and/or assignments as required by senior management Requirements Accounts Payable (AP), Microsoft Excel, Implement Strategies, SAP
