Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in Sugar Land, Texas for a SAP FICO Business Analyst. This position plays a crucial role in our team, requiring a strong understanding of SAP FICO and the ability to effectively liaise between various teams. The role involves working on both projects and production support areas within a global and dynamic SAP landscape.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SAP FICO configurations to support project-related activities and daily operations.

• Act as a key interface between SAP Finance, SD, MM, Security, ABAP teams, and Finance Business Teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

• Support the upgrade to SAP ERP HANA S/4, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption.

• Leverage in-depth knowledge of SAP modules relating to cost accounting, product pricing, cost analysis, and margin analysis to ensure optimal configuration and customization of SAP solutions.

• Lead and manage SAP-related projects from initiation to completion, effectively coordinating activities and communicating with stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize SAP solutions.

• Drive end-to-end SAP implementations by understanding business requirements and translating them into functional specifications.

• Work closely with business users to analyze existing processes, identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation using SAP functionalities.

• Participate in system testing and validation to ensure accurate system behavior and data integrity.

• Utilize expertise in cost accounting principles, product pricing strategies, cost analysis methodologies, and margin analysis techniques to design and implement SAP solutions that enhance financial decision-making.

• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to align SAP functionalities with cost-related business processes, and continuously monitor and assess the performance of SAP solutions, proposing enhancements as needed.

• Provide expert-level support to troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Requirements • Candidate must possess at least 2 years of professional experience as a SAP FICO Business Analyst.

• Proficiency in SAP FICO and SAP FICO - Financial Accounting - Controlling is required.

• Demonstrated experience with FICO Functional is a must.

• Familiarity and experience with the FICO module within the SAP platform is essential.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

• Proficiency in project management and time management.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

• Certifications in SAP FICO would be advantageous.

• Familiarity with other SAP modules would be beneficial.

• Candidates should be able to demonstrate their ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Strong knowledge of business processes and best practices.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is preferred.
