Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our clients team in the manufacturing industry, located in Summerville, South Carolina, United States. This role involves managing financial obligations for the company, analyzing financial and operational data for internal metrics reporting, and reconciling general ledger accounts.
Responsibilities:
• Execute day-to-day duties associated with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Provide inputs to ensure accuracy and correct accounting interpretations
• Conduct analysis and investigations to resolve and reconcile items
• Extract, compile, and analyze financial and operational data for internal metrics reporting
• Reconcile general ledger accounts regularly
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports
• Validate information for management
• Use critical thinking, exercise analytical skills to solve problems
• Learn and apply newly acquired skills related to the manufacturing process
• Utilize SAP

Requirements
• Applicant should have a minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.
• Experience with Bank Reconciliations is essential.
• Familiarity with General Ledger and Journal Entries is necessary.
• Knowledge of Month End Close procedures is expected.
• Applicant should be adept at using NetSuite for accounting purposes.
• Proficiency in SAP
• Applicant should have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
