Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in the Stone/Glass/Concrete Manufacturing industry, based in Sumter, South Carolina. This role involves providing technical assistance to users, maintaining computer hardware and software, assisting in network configurations, and implementing security measures.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to user inquiries and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related problems to minimize downtime and ensure a seamless user experience.

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals, including performing regular system updates and upgrades to optimize performance and security.

• Assist in the configuration and maintenance of local area networks (LANs) and wireless networks, troubleshoot network connectivity issues, and collaborate with network administrators to resolve complex problems.

• Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system changes, create and update documentation for IT procedures and user guides to enhance the knowledge base.

• Implement and enforce security measures to protect the organization's data and systems, stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, and assist in implementing preventive measures.

• Collaborate with IT team members to develop and implement IT strategies, provide input on technology upgrades and improvements to enhance overall system performance.

• Conduct training sessions for end-users on basic IT skills and best practices, keep users informed about system changes and updates.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Windows OS, Basic Network Troubleshooting, Hardware & Software Installation, Break Fix, MS Office 365, Desktop Hardware, Desktop Imaging. Requirements • Familiarity with Windows Operating System is essential

• Proficiency in basic network troubleshooting is required

• Experience with hardware and software installation is needed

• Ability to perform break fix tasks is crucial

• Knowledge of MS Office 365 is important

• Understanding of desktop hardware is necessary
