Sunbury area client is seeking a staff accountant to join their team. Company has been in business for over 100 years and presents lots of opportunity for future growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
Research and answer field questions concerning the monthly P& L statement.
Prepare accounting related entries and upload journal entries.
Follow our company’s established accounting processes.
Reconcile general ledger accounts to appropriate detail.
Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.
Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions.
Compile and create monthly reports for senior management.
Prepare documentation for external auditors.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or Business, plus one (1)plus years of accounting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
