Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Records Clerk in Sunnyvale, California. This role is situated within the healthcare industry and requires a detail-focused individual adept at managing medical records and using various healthcare software.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately process medical records.

• Utilize healthcare software such as Allscripts, Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA), and Cerner Technologies for recordkeeping and data management.

• Oversee and manage EHR SYSTEM to ensure up-to-date and accurate patient records.

• Handle incoming calls, providing professional and timely responses to inquiries.

• Carry out billing functions, ensuring all records are accurate for seamless transactions.

• Utilize Charts - Graphs for data representation and analysis.

• Manage claim administration, ensuring all claims are processed and resolved in a timely manner.

• Regularly review and update medical records, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and in compliance with regulations.

• Use software like Epic for efficient data management and recordkeeping. Requirements • Proficiency in medical software including Allscripts, Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA), Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, and Epic Software.

• Experience in handling inbound calls in a professional and efficient manner.

• Familiarity with medical billing functions and claim administration.

• Ability to create and interpret charts and graphs related to medical data.

• Previous experience in managing and maintaining medical records.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive medical information.

• Familiarity with medical terminology and coding.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
