Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Database Administrator in Sunrise, Florida. The successful candidate will join our team and be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the database systems of our organization. This role will involve working closely with the development team and other business units to ensure the database systems run smoothly and securely.
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage our database systems.
• Analyze the needs of our organization to set up and maintain databases.
• Ensure the performance, availability, and security of the databases.
• Develop and maintain database structures that align with business needs.
• Implement backup and recovery plans to ensure data integrity.
• Work with the development team to optimize database usage and improve performance.
• Provide technical support to solve database usage issues and malfunctions.
• Collaborate with other business units to identify future needs and requirements.
• Implement database optimization strategies for better system performance.
• Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements. Requirements • Proven experience in database administration
• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle
• Familiarity with EO/IR systems
• Proficiency in R2 and Backup Technologies
• Demonstrated skills in Configuration Management
• Solid background in database design
• Proven ability to implement strategies
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge in ETL - Extract Transform Load
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
