Robert Half IT Business Analyst in Sunrise, Florida

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Business Analyst in the Healthcare/NHS industry, based in Sunrise, Florida, United States. This role involves understanding and translating business requirements into technical specifications for IT systems and applications within the healthcare sector.


• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs and requirements into technical specifications for IT systems and applications

• Perform analysis of existing business processes and identify areas for improvement

• Conduct gap analysis and root cause analysis to optimize system performance

• Assist in the development of project plans and timelines for IT projects

• Work closely with development teams to ensure that technical solutions meet business requirements

• Participate in testing to ensure proper functionality and usability of IT systems and applications

• Develop and maintain documentation related to IT systems and applications, including business process flows and technical specifications

• Provide ongoing support for IT systems and applications to ensure they meet business needs

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

• Use business analysis tools such as Atlassian Jira, Informatica, and AB Testing to deliver efficient solutions

• Utilize skills in database management, EO/IR systems, gap analysis, business process functions, and business requirement document design to optimize system performance

• Apply data analysis skills to interpret complex data and provide insights that drive process improvement. Requirements • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the Healthcare/NHS industry

• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira and other project management tools

• Solid understanding of database management and EO/IR systems

• Experience with Gap Analysis and Informatica

• Knowledge of AB Testing and Agile Scrum methodologies

• Understanding of Business Process Functions and ability to create Business Requirement Documents

• Strong design and business analysis skills

• Ability to create and manage technical documentation

• Experience in conducting Root Cause Analysis

• Proficiency in Data or Gap Analysis and Data Analysis

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or related field
