Description
Part remote hiring need! Chris Preble from the Syracuse Robert Half office is working with another Syracuse client of his to find a Controller. You'll have a mix of being remote and in the office during the week. Low turnover environment with solid benefits too!
Working with other members of the accounting department, you'll be involved in a full cycle accounting role. Duties include...
• Oversee accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, internal control
• Prepare monthly financial reports
• Management of internal budgeting process
• Research and development of external site maintenance and control
• Review and implement internal control systems
• Prepare year-end package for external accountants
• Monthly and quarterly inventory
• Host and participate in monthly management meetings
• Ad hoc projects
Requirements
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field
Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
Progressive accounting experience, including experience as an Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager or Controller preferred
Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
Excel Formulas experience
CPA or MBA (or in progress) is an asset
