Mostly remote job! This position will require you to be in the office some weeks 1, 2 or 3 days and remote the rest of the week, other weeks fully remote. It just depends on what's going on.

Chris Preble from Robert Half is working with a healthcare industry client of his to hire a Controller who will help oversee the financial operations of the organization. You will work closely with the CFO and other members of the executive team to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and effective financial management. Your expertise in accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis will be instrumental in supporting healthcare operations and ensuring the organization meets financial goals. Key Responsibilities:

• Help oversee the accounting department and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.

• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including GAAP, and healthcare-specific regulations.

• Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, working with department heads to establish realistic financial goals and monitor performance against budgets.

• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and business planning.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and risk management practices.

• Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies to facilitate audits and compliance reviews.

• Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure adequate funding for operations and capital projects.

• Lead and mentor the accounting team, promoting professional development and maintaining a positive work environment.

  Requirements

• Healthcare industry experience is required.

• Excellent communication skills required.
