Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in SYRACUSE, New York

Description

Chris Preble from the Syracuse Robert Half office is working with a Syracuse manufacturing organization to find their HR Manager. This Human Resources Manager position is a full cycle HR position that reports into executive leadership. You'll be a key member of the team to help continue the growth of the organization. This position also has a very solid bonus and there's a 401k match.

Union experience is an asset (but it's ok if you don't have it)

The duties will include aligning employees to business objectives, recruiting the right talent, enhancing employee performance and development, running orientation and onboarding processes, designing succession plans, maintaining employee relations, updating policies and practices, and overseeing wellness and health initiatives. Your experience in human resources management will aid the organization in adding value to overall business objectives, providing HR solutions, resolving personnel grievances, retaining a talented workforce, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Requirements

  • Professional in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

  • Knowledge of HR software and strong familiarity of MS Office

  • Ability to view issues with an objective lens

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or relevant field is preferred

  • Highly organized and self-motivated

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications are an asset
