Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, ensuring accurate payments, and maintaining vendor relationships. If you have strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Review and process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure proper coding and approval of all invoices before payment.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare and issue payments via checks, ACH, or credit card.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and vendor communications.
Assist with month-end closing processes and financial reporting.
Collaborate with internal teams to address payment-related inquiries.
Stay updated on industry best practices and compliance regulations.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience in accounts payable or a related role.
Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
