Description
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, following up on outstanding invoices, and ensuring timely payments. If you have strong communication skills and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts.
Contact clients via phone, email, and mail to follow up on outstanding invoices.
Negotiate payment plans and resolve disputes in a professional manner.
Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and communications.
Collaborate with the finance team to prepare reports on collections status.
Assist with the resolution of billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.
Stay updated on industry best practices and compliance regulations.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience in collections or accounts receivable.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with credit reporting practices and laws.
