Description
We're Seeking a Full Time Customer Call Center, Patient Care Coordinator in our call center!
We are in search of a Call Center Specialist, Patient Care Coordinator with a distinct skill set stationed in Tacoma, Washington. This role is key to our medical/health industry operations and will be based on-site. The selected candidate will be crucial in coordinating patient care over the phone, handling a variety of administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and healthcare providers. This position is based in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Partake in medical administrative work with no direct patient interaction
• Efficiently handle incoming calls and route them to the appropriate office
• Assist with appointment scheduling and follow-ups over the phone
• Register patients and update their demographics in the system when necessary
• Relay messages from patients to doctors or providers as needed
• Perform tasks such as faxing, copying, and scanning of medical charts
• Verify patient insurance details
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and transactions
• Utilize MS Office Suite and patient scheduling systems effectively
Requirements
• Minimum of one year of experience in a call center environment
• Familiarity with scheduling management software systems
• Proficient in call center customer service practices
• Experience in scheduling and managing patient appointments
• Ability to schedule and follow-up on appointments effectively
• Proficient in data entry tasks with high accuracy
• Experience in photocopying and scanning documents
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
• Ability to maintain accurate and organized records.
