Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Tampa, Florida
Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity based in Tampa, Florida, for an Accounts Payable Specialist. The role is embedded within the construction/contractor industry and will involve the management of full cycle accounts payable tasks, including three-way match procedures and handling of invoices. Must be English/Spanish bilingual, have QuickBooks experience, and a construction background. This position is fully onsite.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications
• Maintain precise customer credit records
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions
• Assist in the management of workload due to growth
• Conduct a three-way match for accounts payable
• Handle invoices, some of which may have 100+ receipts attached
• Utilize accounting software systems and ERP for various accounting functions
• Use QuickBooks for various accounting tasks
• Implement accrual accounting methods as part of accounts payable duties
• Conduct auditing tasks as required
• Manage transactions through Automated Clearing House (ACH)
• Employ account coding skills as part of the wider role.
Requirements • Must possess proficiency in Account Coding
• Experience with Accounting Software Systems is essential
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required
• Ability to execute Accounting Functions effectively
• Must have experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is necessary
• Prior experience in Auditing is desirable
• Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) operations
• QuickBooks expertise is crucial
